Currents.jpg

Currants are small dried red grapes originally cultivated towards the south of Greece - their name comes from the ancient city of 'Corinth'. Whitworths still obtain Currants from Greece, as well as from California, Australia and South Africa. Sun-dried to concentrate their flavour, they combine well with other fruit and spices in baking and cooking.
